Peaky Blinders star Sophie Rundle's heartfelt message as she welcomes second child
Peaky Blinders star Sophie Rundle is "riding this heavenly wave of perfect love" after welcoming her second child... for now.
The 36-year-old actress announced the news of her latest arrival overnight on Instagram, sharing a series of sweet snaps and a heartfelt message to her 517,000 followers.
"He's here. 🌙🪐✨," Rundle's message began.

"I am fully ready and expecting to nosedive off the hormonal cliff edge at any moment but for now I am riding this heavenly wave of perfect love," she continued.
"I only want to stay in this bed, tending to my exhausted happy bones, sniffing his delicious head and grandly announcing that he is wearing an archival look from the 2021 collection every time I put him in one of his brother's old baby grows," Rundle wrote, adding that she is "perhaps a tad delirious at this point".

Rundle concluded: "Oh wow, the love the love the love. ✨ Special thanks to the incredible team at [Stroud Maternity Hospital] for bringing him here so safely and happily and for looking after us so expertly, we are so grateful. ❤️".
Her newborn – whose name has yet to be revealed – is the second child she shares with her partner Matt Stokoe, 35, whom she met on the set of historical drama Jamestown.

The couple, who is engaged, welcomed three-year-old son Henry in 2021.
Rundle rose to fame with a lead role in mystery drama series The Bletchley Circle, before taking on the role of Ada Thorne (née Shelby) on Peaky Blinders alongside Cillian Murphy.
Stokoe, meanwhile, is known for his roles as Alex in Misfits, and Luke Aikens in Bodyguard.
