Sophie Monk tries, fails to ski with Stu Laundy in Canada: 'I'm doing the f---ing splits'

Sophie Monk excels at many things, but it seems skiing is not one of them.

The Love Island Australia host hit the slopes with boyfriend Stu Laundy at Canada's SilverStar Mountain Resort, but things didn't exactly go to plan.

In a video shared to Instagram, Laundy can be seen attempting to help Monk ski between his legs while holding on to her. But after he gives her a gentle push away to get her going, she quickly fumbles.

"Ahhhh! Help! Undo them, undo them! I'm doing the f---ing splits!" she wails in the clip as her skis turn inward, causing her legs to splay. "Oh my god! Oh my god!"

While 38-year-old Monk acknowledges she has skied before, she says she's never done it "like this".

"Are we playing jenga?" she captioned the hilarious clip.

The pair, along with Monk's pal Oscar Gordon (who is a media specialist for SilverStar), have been holidaying at the British Columbia resort since before Christmas. On Christmas Eve, Monk uploaded the above shot in the snow kissing Laundy's cheek.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE," she posted. "Hope you’ve been good so Santa gives you what you want 🎅 Tag your friends that have been naughty or nice."

On Christmas Day, Laundy shared this flustered shot of Monk cleaning up the dishes while still wearing her Christmas crown.

"This little legend was made to wash up," the 44-year-old publican joked in the caption, adding the hashtags #christmasdinner #canadianstyle.

Meanwhile, Monk tried out a new festive look styled by Gordon.

"When you go too far on a Christmas outfit...," she wrote. "Dressed by: Wrapping Paper, Bows & Shoes by: $2 Shop."

And on New Year's Eve, Gordon shared this shot alongside the lovebirds all decked out in 2018 gear.

"Love you!" Monk commented.

Next up, Monk will begin filming Nine's Love Island Australia in Spain later this year.

"I'm so excited. It’s honestly a dream for me," she told TheFIX. "It’s so simple but fun, and the drama in it — to see if Australia can tell if [the singles] are there for the right reasons. I love psychology, so it’s fully exciting. It’s the ideal job."
