Sophie Monk is looking to settle down and start a family, but there's just one problem.
In a new interview with TV Week, the Australia's Got Talent host admitted that while she is clucky, she can’t see herself having a baby any time soon.
"I would [have a baby] if I met a really nice person and felt secure," she said. "Maybe I will have a kid on my own."
The 36-year-old, who previously dated Benji Madden and Sam Worthington, added that her single-person income would be the major barrier to motherhood.
Wait, what? She must be earning a lot more than the average Aussie as a TV personality. Apparently, times are tough even for an actress/model with a high-profile on-camera gig.
"If I've only got one income, I would need help," she explained, adding, "It's just too hard at the moment".
For now, the host who once called Hollywood home, says she's thinking smaller but bigger, as in real estate. She's plotting to purchase a house in Queensland.
"I'm going to buy a property near [my family] on the Gold Coast," she said. "It's been a good thing and a bad thing , how much I love my family.
"I just can't seem to settle down anywhere else…I just need to be with my family, at least for a little bit."
We hear you, Sophie!
