Sofia Vergara shoves her son as he jokes about her age at lemon-themed 44th birthday bash

When life gives you lemons, have a huge lemon-themed bash! Giving an ode to Beyoncé's Lemonade, Sofia Vergara kicked off her 44th birthday with an Italian lemon-themed dinner, posting scenes from the party on her Snapchat Sunday.

"Beyonce would be proud," the Modern Family star captioned a snap as she showed off the lemon-themed decor at the venue.

Sofia's hunky husband, Joe Manganiello, was by her side during the celebration - as was her 23-year-old son, Manolo Gonzalez-Ripoll Vergara, who brought out her birthday cake in a lemon costume.

The jokester, who sang 'Happy Birthday' to his mum at the event, couldn't help but poke a little fun at her in a video he posted on Instagram.

In it, they stand side-by-side as Sofia smiles for the camera and shows off her svelte figure in a cleavage-baring black dress.

"Happy birthday, Mum," Manolo says in the clip above. "I can't believe you're turning…," he continues, but, before he can say her age out loud, Vergara pushes him with a laugh to stop him from revealing it.

He wrote alongside the video: "She's turning 18."

Still, just one look at Sofia will show you she's only getting better with time. She should shout her age from the rooftops.
