'So unsettling': Sharon Stone's constant fear while 'walking down the street'
Sharon Stone has opened up about her "unsettling" fear that comes with being famous.
As someone who rose to fame in the '90s and has been in the spotlight for so many years, Stone, 66, is no stranger to interacting with passionate fans.
But in a new interview with The Sun, the Basic Instinct star admitted she's afraid of a fan going too far and shooting her.

Speaking to the outlet, Stone recalled her The Specialist co-star Sylvester Stallone raising concerns of potentially dangerous fans.
"What Sly said to me is that suddenly you are walking down the street, everyone is doing this (reaching into their pocket) and you don't know if they are going for the pen or the gun," she said.
"That's what becomes so unsettling, because everybody is doing that, but you don't know why," the actress continued.
"You feel constantly in this unsettled place that you always have to figure it out and you have to fix it and be ready."
Stone rose to fame in the early 90s after starring in Basic Instinct – a role she reprised in the 2006 sequel years later.

Stone's recent comments come after several celebrities have had fatal encounters with obsessive fans over the years.
Just as she was at the height of fame in the '90s, Mexican-American pop star Selena Quintanilla infamously died after being shot by a fan.
In 1995, the singer was shot in the shoulder by Yolanda Saldívar in a hotel room at just 23-years-old.
Another American singer Christina Grimmie was also shot and killed by an obsessed fan.
Grimmie, who had placed third on The Voice US, had just performed a concert when she was shot three times by fan Kevin James Loibl while doing an autograph signing.
Other famous names to have had fatal interactions with fans include fashion designer Gianni Versace, guitarist Dimebag Darrell, and The Beatles star John Lennon.
