Canadian singer Shania Twain has announced a new Las Vegas residency for 2024. 

The hitmaker, known for songs including That Don't Impress Me Much and Man! I feel like a Woman!, will take to the stage for a string of shows at Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. 

The residency, aptly called Shania Twain: Come on Over – The Las Vegas Residency – All The Hits!, will be Twain's third and will run from May 10 - December 14. 

The five-time Grammy winner, 57, made the thrilling announcement on CBS Mornings on Tuesday.

"I'm going back to Las Vegas for my Come on Over show, my residency, so I'm very excited about that," Twain said.

"I'm happier than ever to be on stage and I'm living life and sharing my new music and I'm feeling really happy… Hopefully we can have some fun together and I'm looking forward to just sharing music and being in the same room as everybody that wants to celebrate and take a break from real life!" 

Her show will see her perform hits from her 1997 album Come on Over. 

Twain said in an official statement that she was "excited" for the string of shows. 

"I am excited to be returning to Vegas for my third residency Come on Over, performing in Vegas is a huge honour and I love this theatre," she said. 

She added: "The audience can expect all the hits with a few fan favourites from the new album in there too. I am in a celebratory mood and there is nowhere better to party than Vegas so I hope you all join me!"

Twain has sold more than 100 million records throughout her career. 

Twain's first Vegas residency ran from 2012 - 2014, before her second from 2019 to 2020.

She previously said in her Netflix documentary that she was scared she would "never sing again" after a 20-year battle with Lyme disease, a tick-borne illness caused by bacteria.

"My voice was never the same again. I thought I'd lost my voice forever. I thought that was it, [and] I would never, ever sing again," she said.

Another star who will soon be hitting the stage in Vegas as part of a residency is Aussie singer Kylie Minogue, 55.

She will be performing at the Voltaire nightclub at The Venetian in November.

It comes after the success of her new single Padam Padam, which has topped the charts and reached No. 1 on Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay Chart earlier this month.

Tickets for Twain's residency go on sale August 16 on Ticketmaster.
