Seth Rogen had a run-in with Beyoncé's security team that left him 'humiliated'
Seth Rogen shows that when it comes down to it, stars really are just like us.
The comedian-slash-actor-slash-writer has detailed a run-in he had with Beyoncé's security team at the Grammy Awards, which left him "humiliated."
In an interview with E! News' Daily Pop, the Superbad star said he "got what he deserved" when he tried to speak with Beyoncé.

"I saw Beyoncé at the Grammys with Gwyneth Paltrow actually and they were together," the 39-year-old said.
"I charged over. Instinct took over."

According to Rogen, Beyoncé's security guards intervened before he could speak with her.

"I was hit so hard by her security guard that I spilled a drink," the This is the End actor said.
"I got what I deserved... I was humiliated and I didn't get to meet Beyoncé."

Rogen said he spilled a screwdriver cocktail during the encounter and it ruined his suit, which meant that later on in the evening, when he presented an award onstage, he had to hide the stain with awkward arm positioning.

While Rogen did not confirm when exactly the incident occurred, he did present at the 2011 Grammy Awards, where Paltrow and Beyoncé were spotted together.
The trio was photographed together backstage at some stage of the night, where Beyoncé smiles at the camera as Paltrow and Rogen engage in conversation.
It is unclear if this photo captures the incident in question, or if this was at a different time.

Rogen details this incident further in his new memoir Year Book, which also hosts more behind-the-scenes stories from Rogen's two-decade Hollywood career.
Of his new book, Rogen teased, "It's not everything. There is more but it's probably more than I should have written."
