Scott and Kelley Wolf clarify relationship status after mental health crisis

Party of Five actor Scott Wolf and his estranged wife Kelley Wolf have confirmed they are still getting divorced despite briefly reconnecting following her mental health crisis.

Scott confirmed the pair were “moving forward” with their divorce following a period of being “home together as a family, focusing on healing and rebuilding after an extraordinarily difficult season.”

“Our hearts are heavy, but they are also filled with gratitude for the years we spent together, for all that we shared and built, for our loving marriage, and most of all, for our incredible children,” he wrote in a statement to Page Six.

The statement continued, with the pair saying they were “deeply grateful” to have each other’s support during the difficult time.

“We now move forward into this next chapter, guided by love as co-parents to our children, and by our shared commitment to the best and brightest future for our family,” it concluded.

Scott and Kelley had previously reunited as they felt like their “family deserved to have things not just sit in some kind of awful dark place in terms of perception,” according to People Magazine.

‘I needed help’: Kelley Wolf’s heartfelt apology to estranged husband a year after mental health crisis

The announcement comes just months after Kelley detailed her heart-breaking mental health crisis in a candid Instagram post explaining that she had been diagnosed with “breakthrough drug-induced mania with psychosis.”

She posted a lengthy 11-page apology in August, explaining that she had worked with doctors, therapists and psychologists to get her diagnosis, which she claimed was brought on by a combination of stress, past trauma, hormonal changes, hallucinogens and prescription medications.

“Wow… I have taken about 100 deep breaths to write this,” the emotional post started.

“How do I even start? It’s been a year since I recognised what everyone around me could see: I was not well, and I needed help.

“I had no awareness of my actions. I was completely delusional and it was hitting critical mess.”

Kelley then addressed her husband of 20 years, Scott, and issued an apology to him and their family who were affected by her behaviour. 

She noted that her husband was “taken through a nightmare that wouldn’t even fly in a movie script; it was so brutal”.

Kelley also acknowledged that the things she publicly said and shared during the ordeal were not “based in truth or reality”.

“I am so sorry...I have spent my life believing in love, hope kindness, and compassion. What I became was the opposite. Cruel. Vicious. Mean.”

Kelley noted that she will never be the same, and admitted the pain she caused Scott and their children will haunt her for the rest of her life. 

“You never gave up on me, and you fought like hell until you landed me in safe harbour. I owe you my life,” she wrote. 

The apology and explanation of her diagnosis came a year after the estranged couple’s split played out publicly. 

Scott and Kelley, who share three children, sons Jackson and Miller, and daughter Lucy, got married in 2004.

In June 2025 she announced that they were separating after 21 years of marriage.

Scott confirmed that he had filed for divorce, and at the time he called it, “the most difficult decision of my life”.

But just days later Kelley was played on a psychiatric hold at a Utah hospital after a friend requested a wellness check.

In the weeks that followed her social media posts became troubling, and Scott was granted a temporary restraining order and temporary custody of their children. 

Kelley was arrested in August 2025, over alleged online harassment and doxxing of friends and family. 

A month later she was admitted to a mental health facility and placed on a court-ordered involuntary psychiatric hold for at least 60 days following an evaluation.
