Sandra Bullock's father John Bullock dies at 93

Sandra Bullock's father has died.

John Bullock passed away Tuesday at age 93 surrounded by friends and family, E! Online reported. Further details of his passing are unknown.

Sandra's longtime boyfriend Bryan Randall was among those close to the Academy Award-winning actress to share a tribute.

Randall wrote in an Instagram post: "On September 18th at 10:04 pm CST, surrounded by family and friends, John W Bullock left the building," Randall wrote. "As a father, grandfather and WWII veteran, we #thankyouforyourservice."

He added affectionately, "PS: Hey God, we're sending you a live one!" The caption was reportedly accompanied by a photo of a smiling John sitting near the kitchen and holding a nameplate sign that read: "No Bulls--t Allowed."

The Blind Side star, who has no social media accounts, has not commented publicly on her father's passing.

Sandra's younger sister, pastry chef and Food Network personality Gesine Bullock-Prado, shared a collection of photos of her father to Instagram, along with a message that read: "Beloved baby brother, American #WWII #bronzestar #veteran, husband, father of 4 strong women, #grandpa, adorable scamp, handsome devil, and trickster to the end."

John's wife Helga Meyer, an opera singer, passed away in 2000.
