Sam and Snezana spill on how their baby was conceived: ‘It might have happened in the air’

Sam Wood and Snezana Markoski announced news of their pregnancy on Mother’s Day this year.

But while doing the media rounds on their exciting news, the couple might have given away details of when and where Australia’s first Bachie baby was conceived.

"We think that it might have happened up in the air," Sam sheepishly admitted on the Kyle & Jackie O Show, after Snezana hinted at their trip to the mile high club.

Shock jock Kyle Sandilands tried to get details on the reality TV bub’s conception, first asking Snezana if she knew she had “been fertilised”.

"No," she giggled, pausing to think about it, before later slipping up to reveal: "We were thousands of meters up in the air, so it’s hard to know.

Her revelation sent fiance Sam into fits of laughter, before he confessed further details on their unborn daughter’s conception.

“Yes, the baby's name will be Qantas,” he later joked, revealing this time in question “wasn’t [on] a domestic [flight]!”

After saying that Snezana’s “said too much already”, he clarified, "We definitely don't think that's where it was conceived".

But Jackie ‘O’ Henderson was disappointed by that, telling Sam, “But how cool if it was, that's a good story to tell.”

The couple revealed they were going to their “half-way check today”, indicating Snezana is 20 weeks along.

Scanning back through their Instagram accounts (in a totally non-creepy way), TheFIX found that they did take one long-haul flight to Europe, which was 18 weeks ago and could in fact have been the mile high time they were talking about!

Then again, it might have been a bit late in the piece as Snezana would have already been two weeks pregnant by then.

The couple met in 2015 on The Bachelor and now live together in Melbourne with Snezana’s 12-year-old daughter Eve, from her first marriage.

The couple – who got engaged after just six months of dating – have put their planned nuptials on hold till after the baby arrives later this year.
