Sam and Snezana Wood's daughter rushed to hospital on Mother's Day
Sam and Snezana Wood didn't think they'd be celebrating Mother's Day like this.
The Bachelor Australia star, 40, and his wife had to rush their daughter Eve, 15, to hospital in a neck brace following an accident at her footy game.

"There probably isn't a post that could sum up better the love I have for my beautiful wife and the most incredible Mother on this day," he wrote to Instagram. "A day that started out so well with a sleep in for Mum and gifts from the girls and then off to Eve's footy before we were scheduled to have a family lunch."

"Fast forward 7 hours and Eve has been taken to hospital in a neck brace and an ambulance after a clash in footy," he added.
Sam went on revealing that Snezana was by her daughter's side "every minute" while still managing to check on the rest of the family every hour. "We have managed to go another 60 minutes without burning the house down," he joked.
The 28 by Sam Wood trainer then penned a touching tribute to his wife and all other mums in honour of Mother's Day celebrations.
"To my Snez, I love doing life with you. You are the glue that holds this crazy family together," he concluded his post. "To Evie Pops, so glad you are ok, you tough little cookie. To my Mum, every day as a Dad I appreciate you and miss you more and hope I'm doing you proud and to all of the beautiful Mums I salute you and admire you for the incredible selfless, strong and brilliant people that you are and we cannot live without ❤️."
Sam and Snezana met on the third season of The Bachelor Australia in 2015, and tied the knot in 2018. The pair share two children — Willow Wendy, three, and 22-month-old Charlie Lane.

Snezana's daughter Eve was born from a previous marriage, but that doesn't stop Sam from calling her his own daughter.
"I never call myself Eve's 'step-dad'," he told Now to Love in 2019. "I am Eve's dad. That's how I feel. That's how I act."
