Sacha Baron Cohen 'hard launches' his 'mid-life crisis' with insane body transformation

Sacha Baron Cohen has made headlines for his shocking fitness transformation.

The comedian has taken to Instagram to share several images from his cover shoot with Men's Fitness UK, just over a year after announcing his divorce from Aussie wife, Isla Fisher.

While his transformation was clear in the images, Cohen added some extra comments to really drive things home.

"This is not AI, I really am egotistical enough to do this," he wrote on his Instagram story, sharing an image of the magazine cover.

In the following story he shared a picture of him doing a pull-up.

But it didn't stop there, actually, we're not even close.

A third story showed an image of Cohen wearing white tank top.

"Hard launching my mid-life crisis," he wrote.

"Debuting my new character: Middle aged man who replaced beer with protein shakes," he wrote on a third story with an image of him sitting in the gym.

Then, at a further attempt at humour with another gym snap, Cohen wrote, "This is AI... NOT!"

Finally, in his sixth and final story, he thanks his personal trainer for "doing the unthinkable – putting up with me for 25 mins a day".

Just one month ago the Borat actor finalised his divorce from Fisher, with the couple both sharing a statement to their respective Instagram accounts.

"Our divorce has now been finalised," the statement began.

"We are proud of all we've achieved together and, continuing our great respect for each other, we remain friends and committed to co-parenting our wonderful children.

"We ask for the media to continue to respect our children's privacy."
