Rihanna teases new music coming soon amid album rumours

Rihanna fans have been waiting so long for a new album from the singer that it's become a meme.

The 33-year-old has been plagued by rumours of a new album for years, but recently DeuxMoi posted information that she would be releasing one in the next few months, complete with a performance on Saturday Night Live.

Earlier this week, she celebrated the news that her last studio album, Anti, has spent a full five years on the Billboard 200 – making her the first female Black artist to do so

When a fan commented that she should celebrate by releasing a new song, Rihanna replied "I think I should" with a "soon" emoji, adding "Just 1 tho lol."

Just a few weeks ago when a rep for her music label, Roc Nation, was asked about the status of her next album, they told Page Six: "Don't know … haven't heard anything."

Rihanna has reportedly been working on the album since 2018, and has repeatedly trolled fans with teases and references to the album on her social media ever since.

But it sounds like we're getting some new Rihanna music soon –– and we couldn't be keener!
