Iconic actor and The Thorn Birds star Richard Chamberlain has died at the age of 90.
The American star, known for the likes of 1963's Twilight of Honor, The Thorn Birds TV miniseries, Shōgun and Dr. Kildare, died from complications following a stroke, his publicist Harlan Boll confirmed to Variety.
The late star, born George Richard Chamberlain, died in Hawaii.

His partner Martin Rabbett also shared a touching statement following his death, which was picked up by Variety and various US outlets, saying that he is "with the angels now".
"Our beloved Richard is with the angels now," he said.
"He is free and soaring to those loved ones before us. How blessed were we to have known such an amazing and loving soul."

He added: "Love never dies. And our love is under his wings lifting him to his next great adventure."
One of his most iconic roles was in The Thorn Birds, a series aired on ABC, which followed the story of a priest in the Australian outback.
It was based on the novel of the same name by Australian author Colleen McCullough and also starred the likes of actress Rachel Ward.
He starred in Twilight of Honor in 1963. Silver Screen
In recent years, he made appearances in shows including Touched By an Angel and Nip/Tuck and Chuck.

His last acting credit, according to IMDb, was in 2019's Finding Julia film.
The late star came out as gay in 2003, in his memoir called Shattered Love.
