Rebel Wilson shows off severely bruised ribs after freak accident in Mexico
It's hard to be hot on Instagram — just ask Rebel Wilson!
The Pitch Perfect star has recounted a story of trying to get photos on a beach in Mexico when she was hit by a freak wave that left her torso bruised and battered.
"I had to go to the beach to take some hot photos for Instagram. It's not every day you're in Mexico," she told British TV show host Graham Norton.
She recounted a story of a freak wave coming out of nowhere which hit her against the rocks. She previously told this story on Instagram after it first happened, but Wilson also shared with Norton a shocking photo of her injuries.

"So that injury that you can see is I got all scraped down my left hand side and all bruised ribs," she said.
Wilson was in Mexico filming the show Straight Talking where she travels across the country with SAS Australia's Ant Middleton in a 4x4.
When she first shared the wave story on her Instagram, Wilson said: "So guys, warning, when you're taking hot photos just be careful because the waves can get you. Be ocean safe."
