Rachel Griffiths' hilarious response after police think they found her stolen Golden Globe statue
When Rachel Griffiths received a call from the Victoria Police informing her that her stolen acting trophy had been found, she thought her prayers were answered.
After heading to the St Kilda police station to pick up her gong — which was stolen in 2016 when her home was broken into — the actress quickly realised it wasn't quite the statue she had been searching for.

"So excited to get the call from @victoriapolice that one of my stolen Acting awards ( 2 SAG AWARDS 1 golden globe) has turned up three years later," she captioned a photo of the tiny statue that clearly was not her Golden Globe. "[But it's] not quite what I was hoping for!
"Bless though and if anyone is missing this little fella it's [at] St Kilda police station," she added.
The statues Griffiths has been searching for were taken from her home during a break-in back in 2016. The thieves took with them two of her Screen Actors Guild awards (SAG), which she and her Six Feet Under co-stars won for best ensemble cast in 2003 and 2004.
Also stolen was Griffiths' Golden Globe award, which she won in 2002 for Best Supporting Actress, also for her role in the hit HBO series.

"Funnily enough, I had a bit of a break last year and three of my awards got taken, and I'm in the process of trying to get new ones," she revealed in 2017 on Perth 96FM's breakfast show.
"So if you are in a pawn store, or going past a pawn store or a thrift store, and you see them, they are mine!'
