Pink disables comments section on her Instagram after Holocaust memorial

Pink has kindly told her Instagram followers that "there will be no more comments" after being repeatedly criticised for her social media activity.

The Grammy winner took to her Instagram account to hit back at the trolls who frequently use the platform to comment on her parenting choices.

"Just a friendly reminder to those of you that need it: there will be no more comments on this page! Hahahaha! Looks like you’re gonna have to go tell it on the mountain!!!!! Good luck to ya! And to everyone else; I love you forever," Pink wrote.

Pink's decision to stop her followers from commenting comes a day after she was forced to defend her children for running at a Holocaust memorial.

"Berlin, I love you," she wrote, starting the post warmly before coming to the defence of her children. "And for all of the comments; these two children are in actuality Jewish, as am I and the entirety of my mother's family. The very person who constructed this believed in children being children, and to me this is a celebration of a life after death. Please keep your hatred and judgement to yourselves."

It's hardly the first time that Pink has become the target of the 'parenting police' on social media.

She recently shared a summer snapshot of her eight-year-old daughter, Willow, dancing in the sun, with a sassy comment in the caption.

"Here's a picture of my child running through water. It wasn't even filtered," Pink teased, poking fun at the commentary she's used to receiving on her photos. "What a waste of water. And no helmet? I hope she had sunscreen. If she slips and falls she may be traumatized for life. And her mother wasn't even there. I was... gasp... working!!!! In another country!"
