Paula Abdul performs at the Billboard Music Awards
Paula Abdul has still got it.
The pop icon, 56, closed out the 2019 Billboard Music Awards in spectacular style, performing a medley of her greatest hits, marking her first live performance at an award show in 29 years.

Among the songs performed at the BBMAs were 'Straight Up,' 'Opposites Attract' and 'Cold Hearted', which she'll no doubt be reviving again for her Las Vegas residency, Forever Your Girl, beginning in August.

While her dynamic performance stunned the eager crowd with epic stunts and choreography, it wasn't without a casualty. The former American Idol judge playfully threw her hat out to the audience, clocking Dancing With the Stars judge Julianne Hough in the throat. Ouch!
Hosted by Kelly Clarkson, this year’s Billboard Music Awards were held at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Taylor Swift opened the show with a performance of her new single, "ME!", and other performers include BTS, Jonas Brothers, Halsey, Madonna, Khalid, and 2019 ICON Award recipient Mariah Carey.
