Paris Hilton called out by Evan Rachel Wood for commenting 'that's hot' on a photo of Millie Bobby Brown

If there's one thing Paris Hilton knows, it's what's hot and what's not. And in her books, Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown is, indeed, hot.

The noughties icon made a point to tell the 15-year-old she was a fan on Instagram after the young actress uploaded a photo of herself in a leopard print slip dress, commenting, "That's hot."

However, unfortunately for Hilton, the rest of the internet didn't entirely agree, with the star receiving backlash, claiming the comment wasn't appropriate for a teenager. In fact, Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood had some strong feelings about the comment, reminding Hilton in a comment, "She's 15."

Instagram users flocked to the post to agree with Woods, with one telling Hilton, "She's a child — stop!" Before another added, "She's only 15. Think before [giving] a compliment — she's not one of your mature friends."

Hilton's fans were quick to defend the heiress, reminding everyone that the star is known for her iconic phrases, "That's hot" and "Loves it".

"I'm screaming. All these young kids are mad at you for saying that's hot because they're too young to know that was your phrase back in the day, LOL," commented one Instagrammer.

This isn't the first time Brown's age has caused debate amongst fans, with the star striking up a friendship with 33-year-old rapper Drake in November 2018, back when she was just 14.

"I love him," she said at the time, describing the Canadian muso as "a great friend and a great role model". 

"We just texted each other the other day and he was like 'I miss you so much,' and I was like 'I miss you more,' he's great," she explained.

Neither Hilton or Brown have responded, but we'll be waiting patiently until they do…
