One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush engaged to entrepreneur Grant Hughes during Italian holiday: 'Most moving surprise of my life'
Actress Sophia Bush is engaged to Grant Hughes.
The One Tree Hill alum, 39, shared the happy news on social media, revealing her boyfriend proposed in Lake Como, Italy, while onboard a boat.
"So it turns out that being your favorite person's favorite person is the actual best feeling on planet Earth 💫 #YES," she wrote on Instagram. "Thank you to @comoclassicboats and @bottega53 for helping my favorite human plan the most incredible, moving surprise of my life. My heart. It bursts."
Bush and Hughes — an entrepreneur who co-founded FocusMotion Health, a Santa Monica-based organisation that specialises in orthopedic recovery — have been dating for more than one year, first sparking romance rumours in May 2020.

The news comes 15 years after Bush's whirlwind marriage to One Tree Hill co-star Chad Michael Murray.
They were one of young Hollywood's hottest couples when they married in 2005, only to split five months later amid rumours Murray had a fling with Paris Hilton while they filmed House of Wax in Australia at the time.
This rumour was never confirmed nor denied, but it didn't matter — Bush had already petitioned for an annulment.

In a later interview in 2011, Murray, now 39, appeared to discuss the scandal, telling E! News: "Um, you know, I was a kid. And I guess I just didn't see things as clear as I wish I did. I was just living my life, going out and I changed everything.
"When you're young and you're thrown into something that I was definitely not ready for — I'm human and screw up. I'm glad I went through it, I really am, because I wouldn't have come out the other side."
Murray is now married to Disturbia actress Sarah Roemer, with the couple tying the knot in 2015. The couple share two children: a five-year-old son and a four-year-old daughter, whose names they have not released publicly.
