EXCLUSIVE: Did Love Actually’s Olivia Olson just tell us a huge sequel spoiler?
The internet collectively freaked out when it was announced that most of the original cast of Love Actually is reuniting for a television special that follows where the characters from the 2003 film are 14 years later.
Sitting down exclusively with actress Olivia Olson, 24, in Los Angeles this week, TheFIX went straight to the source for all the sequel secrets, including what becomes of the budding romance between youngsters Joanna and Sam.
Fans will remember Olivia, who played singing virtuoso Joanna, crushing her performance of Mariah Carey's 'All I Want for Christmas'. And, of course, for giving Sam (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) his very first kiss.
Everyone (us included) has been pining for these two to end up together someday. Spoiler alert: our wishes may be coming true!
"I can't tell you much about where Joanna and Sam are nowadays, because obviously we need you to watch the special," Olivia said coyly. "But we do re-meet later in life and we come to Liam Neeson to tell him a little something."
