Oliver Tree's plans for his will revealed in chilling interview months before he died in horror helicopter accident

Singer Oliver Tree revealed his plans for his will in a chilling final interview just months before he died at age 32 in a horror helicopter accident. 

In April, the musician, whose real name is Oliver Tree Nickel, appeared on the Zach Sang Show and admitted that he doesn’t feel like the wealth he’s made belongs to him, but won’t be leaving any of it to his family either. 

Tree explained that he had set up his will, so most of his money will go back to artists through a foundation that he started. 

“I don’t believe that any of the wealth or the things that get made from it is mine,” Tree started. 

“So when I die, my will is set up that when I pass, my family, no one’s gonna get a penny.

“If I have a wife or kids or anything, not getting a f---ing penny.

“I’ll get my kids through college, that’s the agreement, but they’re not gonna be a silver spoon.”

Tree added that his family would be taken care of because “my dad worked on some stuff in the 2000s” but added when he did die, his money would go back to artists. 

“I’ve set up a foundation, it’s called Doctor Oliver Tree’s Art Grants for Baby Geniuses, and it’s set up so that basically the interest generated from my music,” he said. 

“We’ll take mostly that, but there’s also room for other money because when I die, my art will continue to have residuals and probably be worth more than it is now.”

Tree joked that people would finally appreciate his “stupid f---ing videos and stupid f---ing songs” then, making a chilling prediction. 

“That’s when people appreciate you when you’re not there anymore,” he added. 

The Miss You hitmaker added, “Hopefully it will last for like 100 years and people can also donate if you guys wanna donate to Doctor Oliver Tree’s art grants for baby geniuses.”

Tree died on Sunday in Brazil, after a horror helicopter crash.

The singer has been identified as one of the six people on board who died in the helicopter collision in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, in the southwest zone of Rio de Janeiro.

The other victims include passengers Lucas Vignale, Gaspar Prim – also known as Argentinian YouTuber Gaspi, Lucas Brito Chaves, and pilots Alexandre Souza and Charles Marsillac, according to CNN Brazil. 

Tree was in South America as part of his The World’s First World Tour, which was set to head Down Under in October for his biggest Australian shows to date.

According to CNN Brazil, two helicopters collided in the air on Sunday morning while flying over an electric vehicle yard. At least 20 cars were set on fire from the collision.

Tree was onboard the flight with Vignale, Prim, Chaves, and Souza. Marsillac was flying solo in the other helicopter.

The local Civil Police have told CNN and other outlets that the case is ongoing and a forensic examination of the scene has been requested. 

Tree had performed in São Paulo on June 6 and was scheduled to pick up his tour in Lisbon, Portugal, July 13.
