Kidman recently spoke about the split publicly for the first time.
The 58-year-old Australian actress sat down with Variety for a wide-ranging interview and while she spoke about the Practical Magic sequel and Prime Video series Scarpetta, she also addressed her personal life.
"I'm always going to be moving toward what's good," the actress told the publication when asked if she was "doing all right" in the months following their split.
"What I'm grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That's that.
"Everything else I don't discuss out of respect. I'm staying in a place of, 'We are a family', and that's what we'll continue to be."
