Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury welcomed their second baby earlier this month, confirming the exciting news with a sweet family snap on Instagram.

As Fury made his way into the ring, his shorts were finished with the name Midas on the front, confirming their son’s name.

A tribute to both children, three-year-old daughter Bambi’s name was also on the shorts.

Fury and Hague had hinted that the name was going to be an unusual choice and she was sure that people were going to hate it before they revealed it.

Sharing an emotional post on Instagram after his win, the boxer reflected on the experience, dedicating it to his son.

“Still undefeated🥊❤️ Huge respect to Eddie. You surprised me, pushed me and gave me a challenge. Thank you for accepting the fight and sharing the ring with me, it was a pleasure,” Fury wrote.

“This one is for my newborn son Midas🖤 And thank you to Molly for holding down the fort with our two beautiful children whilst I was preparing.

“Thank you everyone who turned out last night, events like this wouldn’t be possible without you all. Now it’s time for some much-needed family time.”

The name Midas comes from Greek mythology, relating to King Midas who wished that everything he touched turned to gold.

The moniker also means “wealth”. The phrase ‘Midas touch’ means someone has the ability to turn anything they touch into gold, money or success.

“Also, just can’t wait for everyone to hate it, obviously it’s a different name – we were never gonna call our baby just an ordinary name, that was never going to happen.”

She confirmed that she’s only ever heard of one other baby with this name, although it’s not “as different as Bambi.”

“Can’t wait for everyone to literally probably dislike it and be like ‘da f***?’, but yeah, it was never gonna be an ordinary name guys, let’s be honest,” she added.

Fury is scheduled for a boxing match on June 13, and Hague hinted in her most recent vlog that she might reveal the baby’s name then.

At the time she explained that she could announce the name by putting it on Tommy’s fight shorts as she normally designs them.

In August 2024 Hague shocked fans when she suddenly announced she and Fury had split.

The couple, who had got engaged in late 2023 just months after welcoming their daughter, had ended things after five years.

“After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

Rumours of infidelity on his side spread after news of their split, although Fury has always denied this.

It was later revealed that his relationship with alcohol was the issue, and he opened up about it in an interview with Men’s Health, confirming “cheating was never a thing.”

“The reason why me and Molly broke up was because I got addicted to alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore,” he added.

In 2025 the couple rekindled things and after a year living apart, they moved into the Cheshire home they had bought before splitting, which is now their family home.
