Love Island star survives fight against world’s strongest man
Tommy Fury has overcome a 49-kilogram weight disadvantage against former world’s strongest man Eddie Hall in a bizarre boxing bout.
The younger brother of heavyweight legend Tyson proved too classy for Hall, who was competing in just his second professional fight on Sunday morning (AEST).

Fury dodged the imposing Hall and landed enough good shots to get the nod from the judges, who awarded him the 59-56, 58-56, 57-57 unanimous decision.
Speaking post-fight, Fury dedicated the win to his newborn baby with partner Molly Mae and thanked Hall for the competition.
“This was for my new baby boy, Midas,” he said.
“I’ve fought a lot of people, and this guy [Hall] can fight. He’s not slow, he’s fit. Thank you for taking the fight and thank you for a great night in Manchester.”
Hall conceded his gas tank wasn’t up to scratch against a fitter, lighter and younger opponent.
“Tommy was a really hard guy to catch, I knew that would be the case,” he said.
“My engine let me down in the end. Hopefully, I get back to MMA now.”
The promotion for the clash was dubbed “Beauty vs The Beast” - a nod to the famous Disney film - with Fury a former Love Island reality star.
