Miranda Kerr reveals she wants to stay single... despite James Packer dating rumours

Love is the last thing on Miranda Kerr's mind at the moment, the Aussie supermodel told Kate Waterhouse in today's Sun Herald.

The 31-year-old, who split from Orlando Bloom last October, revealed that she's not looking for "the one"... and it's definitely not James Packer!

"We’ve been friends for years. [Rumours] happen all the time with me, it happens to Orlando [too]. We understand it," Miranda said. "As long as we both know [the truth], then it doesn’t really matter what people think. People can speculate as much as they like."

When asked if she was looking for love, Miranda replied: "No. I'm really happy and content to just be single at the moment and to be focusing on Flynn and my work. It keeps me very occupied. Of course going on a date here and there is fine if it fits into the schedule."

Sounds like you need to book a year or two in advance for a candlelit rendezvous with Miranda... even if you're a billionaire.

"What I don't appreciate is when [media] show things out of context," Miranda complained. "You're with a friend and then they assume that just because you're with a friend it's suddenly: that's your new partner. People just assume, just because you're going to have a coffee with someone or have dinner, then suddenly you're dating!"

SMH reported in late June that Miranda spent a few days aboard James Packer's yacht in Cyprus. However, their insider claimed Miranda was just trying to persuade the mogul to invest in her skincare range, Kora Organics.

The pair have been linked since earlier this year, however, Miranda first denied the romance in May by playing the "friend" card.

Miranda's hectic schedule includes campaigns for Swarovski, Wonderbra, Reebok, Escada, H&M, Royal Doulton and various other brands that keep her globe-trotting with three-year-old son Flynn.
