Miley Cyrus' mum Tish Cyrus debuts romance with Aussie actor Dominic Purcell

Miley Cyrus' mum has found love with an Australian actor, just seven months after filing for divorce from singer Billy Ray Cyrus.

It appears Tish Cyrus has been dating Prison Break star Dominic Purcell – and she's ready to go public with the romance. 

The 55-year-old re-shared a photo she was tagged in by a friend on Instagram Stories, which featured her and Purcell, 52, hugging by the pool in a tropical setting.

"Thanks for the cute photo @Vijatm," Tish wrote in the caption, adding a heart emoji and including the actor's Instagram handle. 

In a follow-up post, she also shared an uplifting quote about life and timing, which read: "In God's perfect timing, everything will turn out right!"

Tish agreed, writing: "Sometimes that's hard to believe but it is so true."

While the romance may be news to many, the couple have been leaving subtle hints on social media in recent months. 

In August, Tish commented on an Instagram photo of Dominic in his wetsuit, writing, "Hi babe,"  to which he responded, "Hi love."

Then in September, Dominic's 19-year-old daughter Lily-Rose posted a selfie with Tish during a weekend in Canada, which was retweeted by a fan.

The actor also shares Lily-Rose's twin Augustus, Joseph, 23, and Audrey, 21, with ex-wife Rebecca Williamson. 

Like Tish, Billy Ray has also moved on from their 28-year marriage. The country music star, 61, is engaged to Aussie singer Firerose after he reportedly proposed in August. But the pair have been friends for years.

"We actually met 10 years ago on the set of Hannah Montana," Firerose said in a previous interview, referring to Billy Ray and Miley's children's sitcom. "Billy Ray's been a phenomenal supporter of my music ever since."

"He's just really believed in me and continued to tell me to pursue my dreams no matter what and not give up. The music industry is not easy, but he's been just a really, really incredible support." 

Billy ay and Tish were married in 1993 and share five children – daughters Miley, 29, Noah, 22, and Brandi, 34, and sons Trace, 33, and Braison, 27.

They've split up twice during their union, but in June this year, Tish officially filed for divorce. 

"It is after 30 years, five amazing children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways – not with sadness, but with love in our hearts," the couple wrote in a joint statement released to People magazine at the time.

"We have grown up together, raised a family we can be so proud of, and it is now time to create our own paths."
