Miley Cyrus reveals the wild reason her mum Tish always urged her to stay with the 'wrong guy'
When it comes to taking advice from your parents, it's best to do it with a grain of salt – something Miley Cyrus has learnt.
The 32-year-old pop star has opened up about her mum Tish Cyrus' advice for relationships and revealed she's gone the other way now.
Turns out Tish, 58, has always encouraged her daughters to stay in relationships that weren't working, purely for superficial reasons.

"Mum's always wanted me to stay with the wrong guy 'cause they're hot," Miley told The Cut in the interview alongside Tish and her sisters Brandi, 38 and Noah, 25.
Miley was previously married to Liam Hemsworth and has dated Nick Jonas, Justin Gaston, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Stella Maxwell, Kaitlynn Carter and Cody Simpson in the past.
But according to Tish, the advice isn't bad.

"That was great advice because after so many years, you're kind of over it," she said.
Miley asked her mum to elaborate and she explained that even if you're outgrowing your relationship, "at least you get to look at somebody that's friggen hot!"
Tish, who married Dominic Purcell after divorcing the girls' dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, got a big laugh with that comment.

But Miley used the moment to educate her mother and revealed how her current boyfriend Maxx Morando is different – for the better.
"No, I ended up with a person who means a lot to me and treats me really well and respects me," she explained.

"I had to learn that the hard way because my mommy taught me the wrong way and then I had to learn the right way by myself."
Miley added that Tish never put respect from a partner up high in the qualities to look for in a relationship, noting instead that she would say "they need to be tall".
Brandi piped in to say that her partner, Aussie Matt Southcombe is "hot as hell".
While Miley echoed that she said that her man is hot too, but he also respects her.
The girls noted that their mum seems to have "evolved" noting the positive side of her new relationship with Purcell.
