Michelle Williams is engaged to financier Andrew Youmans

Congrats are in order for Michelle Williams!

The 37-year-old actress is engaged to New York financier Andrew Youmans, 50, US Weekly reports.

Williams and Youmans have yet to step out publicly, but as one source claimed, "She wants a good guy and a stable family life."

The All the Money in the World star sparked engagement rumours recently when she was photographed wearing a heart-shaped diamond ring on that finger at the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles on January 7.

But at the time, the actress passed the bling off simply as "beautiful jewelry."

Williams has been linked to Youmans since last July, when the couple was spotted holding hands and kissing as they strolled the streets of Rome, where she was filming All the Money in the World.

The Montana native has spoken about being "inconsolable" after the tragic death of her former partner, late actor Heath Ledger, with whom she shares daughter Matilda, 12.

The Dark Knight star, a Perth native, died from an accidental overdose of prescription medication on January 22, 2008, just a few months after he and Williams had broken up.

They had dated for three years.

Another source added that the Dawson's Creek alum was hesitant to find love again.

"Michelle was totally focused on giving Matilda the best upbringing possible," said one insider. Added another, "It took her a long time to get over Heath."

In the years since Ledger's passing, Williams has been romantically linked to How I Met Your Mother star Jason Segel, director Spike Jonze, and author Jonathan Safran Foer.
