Michael Jackson's son Prince's tribute 15 years on from father's death: 'The world felt better with you in it'
On the 15th anniversary of Michael Jackson's death, tributes from the musican's family have been rolling in – including a special one from his son Prince.
The King of Pop died on June 25, 2009, at age 50. Now, more than a decade later, Prince, 27, has shared a touching throwback on his social media.
On Instagram Stories, Prince shared a photo of his dad smiling during his 1993 performance at the Super Bowl XXVII halftime show.

"Miss you pop," Prince wrote above the photo.
"The world felt better with you in it."
Prince was only 12 when he lost his dad as a result of a cardiac arrest. The Thriller singer would have been 65 this year.

Jackson's eldest brother, Jackie, 73, also paid tribute to his late brother, sharing a post of the pair singing during the early stages of their career.
"Hard to believe it's been 15 years without you ❤️🩹 We miss you everyday 🕊️," Jackie captioned his post.
Another Jackson brother, Tito, 70, also shared a photo to social media, accompanied by an array of hashtags: "#15yearswithoutmichaeljackson #gonetoosoon #alwaysinourhearts #MJ4ever #missyoumuch #nowords 😢💔🥺"

Tito's son TJ, 45, also commemorated his late uncle with an Instagram caption
"I miss you so much Uncle Michael. Thank you for all you did for me," he wrote.
"I will always feel like the luckiest nephew to have you as an eternal source of strength, guidance and love. I love you forever."

Three months ago, Jackson's kids made an ultra-rare appearance together, and all three attended a red carpet event in his honour.
Prince, Paris, 25 and Bigi, 22, stepped out together for the preview event of MJ: The Musical in London.
Prince opened up about how close he and his siblings were to People in 2021: "At this point in our life it doesn't really feel like there's that hierarchy of, 'I'm the older brother.'"

"It's more [that] we're all siblings and we're kind of all on that same level where my sister has her strengths, and my brother has his strengths, and where I'm not as strong in certain areas, they compliment me in that way."
"Any moment that I get to spend with my siblings now, especially as we're getting older and our own lives are starting to blossom and grow, every moment that I get with them, any little family dinner, any family outing, is really a special moment."
