A sea of red dresses and fascinators has descended on Flemington racecourse today.
So much so that it would seem the celebs were given a memo beforehand. But Olivia Molly Rogers says that's not the case.
Speaking to 9honey, the Aussie model and influencer agrees that "it's the colour of the day".
But when asked if she was expecting it, Rogers says "no." "I thought I was going to be original," she added. "But clearly not."

Chatting with Olympian Jess Fox, Ronan Keating and his Aussie wife, Storm Keating, share just how much they "love being in Australia."
"We're spending quite a bit of time at the moment here, which is great," Ronan said.
"We're in Sydney mainly, and we'll be here until next year. But I think we've reevaluated life a little bit... the plan is to kind of spend more time here in Australia and we love it so much, we love being here."
The Irish muso is set to take to the stage later today, shocking Fox when she asks if he'll be playing his biggest hits like When You Say Nothing At All.
"I'm going to do the difficult second album, songs people don't know," he said.
Fox for a moment looks speechless, until Storm begins laughing, saying, "No he's not, he's not."
"No I'm not, I'm not," the former Boyzone singer adds with a laugh.
"I didn't have a difficult second album, it was a difficult third album."
Ronan shared that he'll "of course" play the songs people want to hear, adding that he can't wait to perform.
"I've got a great setlist of tunes I hope people are familiar with."

Influencer and fashionista Hannah Dal Sasso has arrived and like Ariarne Titmus and Kate Waterhouse, she got the red memo!
Dal Sasso tells 9honey at Flemington she wanted to make a splash for the race that stops the nation with a statement red boater hat. "I wanted a big stand-out head piece and you just can't go wrong with a hat so we went with a hat," she says.
Dal Sasso paired the statement headpiece with a strapless crimson gown complete with a mesh corset and floral embellishments.
It's a stunning look for which Dal Sasso gives all credit to her stylist Paul Versace.
"He did an amazing job," she says. "I just wanted a really bold colour and look and this is what he came up with."
Hannah Dal Sasso's plan for Melbourne Cup Day
For Dal Sasso, Melbourne Cup Day is all about the fashion. She's a style icon, an influencer, and a business woman with her own fashion rental company which means she's been very busy in the lead up to the cup.

"I am very stressed, but it is so fun and I love walking around the races and seeing girls in my styles," Dal Sasso tells 9honey.
"It is really surreal so I can't complain. I love being busy and I love all work."
While she will lap up the social activities later today, Dal Sasso says her main focus today is on the fashion and the girls she's spending time with.
"I do like to make race days and especially work days like this mainly about the outfits and the fashion and the girls and like you know kind of focusing on that side of things more than like the social scene," she says.
As for when the big day wraps up, Dal Sasso says she'll be tucked up in bed watching Gilmore Girls with some takeaway.
"I am a takeaway burger in bed watching a movie [kind of person]."
