Mel B says the Spice Girls are coming to Australia in 2020

Don't freak out just yet, but it seems our favourite '90s girl group might be making their way Down Under in 2020 for the first time!

Getting the band back together for their Spice World reunion tour (minus Victoria Beckham), the Spice Girls have been playing to crowds at London's Wembley Stadium.

At the end of the last show on the tour, as the group were saying their goodbyes to fans, Mel B accidentally let slip that they have plans to bring the tour to Australia.

Speaking over screaming fans, an audio clip clearly captures Mel B saying, "We will see you in February in Australia!"

The 44-year-old Spice Girl's slip of the tongue, has as expected, sent the Internet into a meltdown.

Sharing the clip to Twitter, Daily Mirror Showbiz Editor Halina Watts wrote, "Spice Girls @OfficialMelB just confirmed they are returning to the stage in February in Australia #SpiceWorldtour2019."

"How many years have we talked about this?!?! my whole life has been leading up to this moment!" Responded one fan.

"The spice girls rlly [sic] said see you in February in Australia I am so alive rn," tweeted another fan.

"Australia it's happening Feb 2020. Bless you after 25 Years," tweeted another.

"SpiceGirls coming to Australia is the best news I've heard all year," tweeted another social media user.

However some were more skeptical.

"She laughed after, she’s a wind up merchant," responded one user to the audio clip.

"I don’t think she’s telling the truth," tweeted another skeptic.

While the band is yet to issue an official announcement, it's safe to say, we're excited!
