Reason Mel B wasn't expecting fellow Spice Girls to attend her wedding
Mel B did not expect her fellow Spice Girls to attend her wedding.
The UK singer, "Scary Spice," told the NY Post that she didn't know her girl group mates Emma Bunton and Mel C were attending her wedding until she saw them there.
She explained that her husband was in charge of the guest list, so she didn't know who had been invited.

While all the Spice Girls were invited, only Emma Burton and Mel C were able to attend.
"Everyone's doing their own thing," Mel B said about her fellow pop group members.
"They all sent me well-wishes and we had lovely FaceTimes, but I didn't expect any of them to turn up. So when they (Emma and Mel C) were there, I was like, 'Oh, wow!'"
She explained that she was overwhelmed with wedding planning, handing off the guest list to her partner to handle

"I was like, 'Rory, my ADHD is on fire. I'm still sorting out my dress. You deal with that(guest list), here's my list of who I want to come. Figure it out," she added.
Mel B, 50, married her partner, hairdresser Roy McPhee, 37, in a private ceremony in London's St Paul's Cathedral on July 5.
They also got married a second time in Morocco, at Selman Marrakech on August 3.
The singer told The NY Post that her father was the inspiration behind her second wedding in Morocco.

"That was the last place that I had a holiday with my dad before he died," she revealed. "It's a very special place to me."
Bunton attended the London wedding, while Mel C was a guest at the wedding in Morocco.
"I didn't expect any of them to come, to be honest, because it was a very intimate, private thing, and I know everybody's busy," she said.
The singer also said that "Posh Spice" Victoria Beckham couldn't make it because she "was busy and she sent me lots of gifts," while "Ginger Spice" Geri Halliwell-Horner was "off with Formula 1."

The pair had been dating for three years before getting engaged in October 2022.
The "Wannabe" singer has previously opened up about how McPhee helped her through the aftermath of her divorce with her second husband, Stephen Belafonte.
The pair were married from 2007 to 2017.
McPhee and Mel B were friends for years before their relationship turned romantic, revealing in her 2017 memoir "Brutally Honest" that he had been there for her when her father passed away in 2017.
