Married At First Sight's Zoe Hendrix is opening up about her split from Alex Garner.
The 29-year-old, who announced her separation in April this year, revealed on Monday's episode of the Single Mother Survival Guide podcast how she has handled the last six months.
Hendrix said telling the world about the breakup was "embarrassing" and "overwhelming".
"I felt a massive amount of shame and failure," she told host Julia Hasche. "I was thinking I had let people down. I had failed in the fairytale that a lot of people were invested in."
Hendrix and Garner share a one-year-old daughter, Harper-Rose, and have been navigating the world of co-parenting. Hendrix called it a "cruel and unusual punishment" for recently separated parents.
