'Married At First Sight 2019': When does Season 6 start in Australia?

We finally know have a premiere date for Season 6 of Married At First Sight.

The Nine Network has revealed the ~explosive~ Australian series will return on Monday, January 28 at 7:30pm on Nine and 9Now.

The series will air until Easter, with four glorious episodes each week.

While the 20 single participants' identities are still a mystery, we do know that relationship experts John Aiken, Mel Schilling and neuropsychotherapist Dr Trisha Stratford are back for the social experiment.

There will be 10 brides and 10 grooms from across Australia in 2019.

For first-time watchers, each single that signs up for the show agrees to marry whomever the experts match them with, within minutes of meeting.

From the second each Married At First Sight couple say 'I do', their relationship will be under the microscope.

The newlyweds will get to know each other -- and possibly consummate their newfound marriage -- on their honeymoons, before moving in together and living under the same roof as the other couples for two months.

From there, there'll be the infamous dinner parties and brand new challenges and hurdles.

According to the Nine Network, the experts have introduced some surprising new elements that will "rock the experiment and challenge not only the couples, but the group as a whole."

And 9Life's post-MAFS chat show, Talking Married, returns in 2019 with hosts Jayne Azzopardi and Shelly Horton.

Sounds like a wild ride!
