Law & Order SVU star Mariska Hargitay caught making dig at co-star Christopher Meloni backstage at the Emmys
Mariska Hargitay roasted her Law & Order SVU co-star Christopher Meloni in a hilarious moment backstage at the 2025 Emmy Awards ceremony.
But little did she know Meloni had been filming the moment on his camera and their reaction was priceless.
The pair, who presented an SVU reunion skit at the ceremony, stood backstage and walked past a table of Emmy Awards when Hargitary made a playful dig at her co-star.

Meloni filmed the table of Emmys on his phone when Hargitay could be heard in the background.
"You'll never have that," she joked of the Emmys in a passing comment to Meloni.
He then lifted the camera to film Hargitay. She entered the frame at the exact moment she clocked that Meloni had been filming.
Her jaw dropped in shock and she mouthed the words, 'Oh s--t' as the pair burst into laughter.

"You see what I got there, you see what I deal with," Meloni said to the camera after catching Hargitay's cheeky comment.
Hargitay continued to laugh as Meloni payed her out revelling in the fact he captured the moment.
"And she curses," he added as Hargitay swore again about the moment.

Meloni posted the hilarious moment to his Instagram among a carousel of photos as he wrapped up the evening.
"Shenanigans and special ppl at The Emmys," he captioned the post.
Fans in the comments lapped up the candid moment between the two co-stars.
"'You'll never have that' is the most best friend thing she's ever said," one fan commented.
"I've watched this so many times and it just gets funnier," commented another.
"We need more unfiltered Mariska content," another wrote.
The duo play partners in the widely popular police procedural show which has been running since 1999.
Hargitay won the Emmy Award for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role in the TV show back in 2006.

She has received eight Emmy nominations in total and also won a News and Documentary Emmy for co-producing the HBO documentary I Am Evidence.

The same year, Hargitay won Lead Actress, Meloni was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series but the Emmy ultimately went to Kiefer Sutherland for his role in 24.
He hasn't received any other Emmy nominations.
