Mandy Moore shares photo of black eye, stitches after 'awkward' bathroom mishap

Mandy Moore is on the mend after an unfortunate accident over the weekend.

On Thursday, The This Is Us star, 33, shared a photo of her blackened right eye and stitches on Instagram after she claimed she ran into a shower door.

"Shower door handle - 1, Mandy - 0. Real talk: how does a girl get rid of a black eye pronto?" she captioned the pic. Despite the mishap, the actress appeared in good spirits.

She told her 1.4 million followers that a plastic surgeon came to "sew me up" that morning. "Never had stitches or a black eye before... what a day!" she wrote.

Lending some moral support was Mandy's This Is Us co-star Milo Ventimiglia. Mandy shared a screenshot of a group chat with Milo, who wrote in a text message, "Solidarity," along with a photo of himself and two crew members painted with blackened eye makeup.

"Don't mean to blow up their spot but I have the best work family ever, ever, ever. Come on!!" Mandy captioned the hilarious photo.
