Machine Gun Kelly reunites with his estranged mother: 'What a full circle moment'
Machine Gun Kelly is working on his relationship with his estranged mother.
On Thursday, the punk-rocker posted a sweet photo to Instagram where he was seen sitting alongside his mother – whose name is unknown – while posing with peace signs at the camera.
This is the first public photo of the mother-son duo since they reconnected last year.
The musician, who is engaged to actress Megan Fox, initially became estranged from his mother during childhood.

The 32-year-old shared the photo on Instagram with the caption, "Introducing … my mom."
One fan responded to the photo writing, "Omg! This is major. Congrats for reconnecting ♥️"
Another added, "What a full circle moment, that's awesome."
A third wrote, "Time for healing. Love this."
MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, was born and raised in Houston and has previously spoken about his mother's absence during childhood.
In a Lil Skies collaboration called 'Burning Memories', MGK touched on their falling out – saying she abandoned his family when he was just 9 years old.

Following his mother's departure, the musician went on to move to Colorado with his father who passed away in July 2020, per The New York Times.
"Yeah, this one's for the mama that I never knew / I took acid just to burn all of my memories of you," MGK sings on the track. "I guess now I really wanna know the truth / How'd you leave your only child at 9 for another dude?"
"All the years that you ignored me, left me sleepless in the bed," he continues. "I hope that he got some kids because your only son is dead."
In June last year, MGK confirmed that he had reconnected with his mum in an emotional Twitter statement.

"Wild story but after all these years, the fans are responsible for me and my mom finally reconnecting, I love you," he wrote.
