'Worst decision I ever made': Lottie Moss says she was hospitalised after overdosing on Ozempic

Lottie Moss has revealed she was hospitalised after an Ozempic overdose.

The younger sister of supermodel Kate Moss shared the details on the latest episode of her Dream On with Lottie Moss podcast titled, MY OZEMPIC HELL: I Had SEIZURES, A$&E, Weight Loss.

The 26-year-old model said taking Ozempic was the "worst decision I ever made," adding she would "rather die at any day than take that again."

Moss said she had gotten the antidiabetic medication, which has recently become a weight loss trend, from a friend, and had been taking it for about two weeks when she started to feel seriously ill.

"I felt so sick one day, I said to my friend, 'I can't keep any water down. I can't keep any food down, no liquids, nothing. I need to go to the hospital. I feel really sick'," she said.

She was taken to the hospital at 3am and was sat in the ER "waiting forever" when she and her friend went to speak to one of the nurses.

Moss told the nurse the dosage of Ozempic that she had been on, to which the nurse responded, "Oh my god, that's so not what you're meant to be taking."

"The amount that I was taking was for people who were 100 kilos and over," Moss explained. "I'm in the 50s range."

She was then taken through the hospital in wheelchair, but when she got to her room she said she started to feel really sick.

"I felt like I was going to pass out and I said, 'I feel... somethings happening, somethings happening, I don't feel good'," Moss recalled.

"I literally had a seizure from how dehydrated I was, which honestly was the scariest thing that's ever happened to me in my life.

"My friend had to hold my feet down. It was so scary, the whole situation. My face was clenching up, my whole body was tense."

Moss used her story as a "warning" to anyone considering taking Ozempic for weight loss.

She also took the time to talk on the harmful effect the trend has had on society, putting more and more pressure on girls to be thin.

"This heroin-chic trend right now coming back, which was something that happened in the '90s, we should not be going back there," she said. "Where did body positivity go?"
