Lost actress Maggie Grace secretly filed for divorce from her husband, Brent Bushnell, over a year ago.

According to documents cited by multiple US outlets, the actress filed for divorce from her husband of eight years in May 2025, listing their separation date as October 1, 2024.

In the documents, Grace confirmed that she and Bushnell had been living separately since their separation date, stating that the marriage was “irretrievably broken”.

She also requested a name change, hoping to revert to her maiden name, Margaret Grace Ives.

The documents also revealed that the couple had privately welcomed a second child, a daughter named Fiona, who was one as of May, 2025.

Grace and Bushnell welcomed their first child, a son, in 2020.

The documents appeared to confirm that the couple had worked several things out before filing, including a property settlement and a separation agreement, both also waiving their rights to spousal support.

The divorce went uncontested, with Grace requesting that the prenup signed on the date of their wedding in 2017 be honoured.

She was granted primary custody of both children. Bushnell was granted custody of their son on weekends and split holidays, with the same agreement coming into place for their daughter after she turns three.

The divorce was finalised on August 13, 2025.

The Taken star first met Bushnell, the founder of an engineering company, through mutual friends. A relationship quickly developed in 2016, following her split from former fiancé Matthew Cook.

In an Instagram post that now appears to be deleted, Graced shared a loved-up snap of the pair in a canoe, with the caption, “The strongest and sweetest songs yet remain to be sung (Whitman).”

Within just a few months, the couple were ready to say ‘I do’, tying the knot in May 2017.

According to People, the wedding took place in Ojai, California, and was an intimate ceremony with close friends and family.

Grace’s next project sees her starring alongside Dennis Quaid and Chase Stokes in upcoming drama series, Thunder Road.
