Andy Lee issued a stern warning to 9Honey's Maria Thattil on the Logies red carpet while putting in some last-minute work promoting his show The Hundred with Andy Lee.

"Do it for the puppies!" chimed in his partner Rebecca Harding, who wowed in a white gown with black bow detail on the big night.

Though we can't confirm how serious the pair were about votes saving puppies, Lee was surprisingly earnest when it came to the topic of the Gold Logie.

His longtime mate Hamish Blake was up for the award and if he won, it would be the first time a star took home back-to-back Gold Logies in 15 years.

When Thattil asked Lee and Harding who they thought would take home the coveted award, Lee confessed they were definitely biased.

"I'm biased. I'm Hame the whole way, we're both voting for Hame and got the family to do it as well," he said with a smile.

Despite their efforts, it was Sonia Kruger who ended up taking home the prize at the end of the night.

He and Harding hit the red carpet after weeks of speculation about their romance, after a romantic trip to Europe together sparked fresh marriage rumours.
