Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock secretly welcomed twins one week before bandmate Perrie Edwards announced her baby's arrival

Just days after Little Mix star Perrie Edwards announced the birth of her baby, bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock revealed she secretly gave birth one week ago — to twins!

The 29-year-old shared the happy news on Instagram yesterday, announcing she and fiancé Andre Gray welcomed their babies on August 16.

"We asked for a miracle, we were given two... 🥺🖤 Our Cubbies are here 😍🖤16/08/21 🖤," Pinnock captioned the black-and-white photo of the first-time parents holding the tiny feet of their two babies.

Pinnock had been excitedly counting down the days until she became a mother. She first revealed the pregnancy on Instagram in May, posting stunning shots from a maternity photoshoot to announce the news. 

"We've dreamed about this moment for so long and we can't believe the dream is finally coming true," the singer captioned the post, which featured her soccer star fiancé with his hand affectionately placed on her stomach. "We can't wait to meet you. ❤️😍"

The new arrival came just days before Little Mix bandmate Edwards welcomed her first baby with soccer star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Like Pinnock, Edwards, 28, shared a sweet black-and-white photo of her baby's hand, ear, and foot.

"Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21 ♥️," she wrote.

The bandmates have since bonded over becoming new mums, with Edwards one of the first to congratulate Pinnock on Instagram. 

"Two bundles of absolute joy! I love you my Lee Lee! ♥️" she wrote.
