Lisa Marie Presley's son Benjamin Keough dead at 27

Lisa Marie Presley's son Benjamin Keough had died aged 27 from an apparent suicide.

Keough was found dead on July 12 in Calabasas, California (local time), according to TMZ.

Presley, who shares Keough with her ex-husband Danny Keough, is "completely heartbroken" over the death of her son.

"She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley," Presley's representative Roger Widynowski told People. "She adored that boy. He was the love of her life."

In 2009, Keough scored a record deal with Universal that was worth a reported US$5 million (approx. $7.1 million).

Presley is also mother to Riley Keough, 31, and 11-year-old twin daughters Harper and Finley, whom she shares with ex-husband Michael Lockwood.

In June 2019, Presley shared a photo with her four children to Twitter, captioned, "Mama Lion with cubs."

In 2012, The singer discussed the uncanny resemblance between Benjamin and her father, the late Elvis Presley.

"He was at the Opry and was the quiet storm behind the stage," she told CMT. "Everybody turned around and looked when he was over there. Everybody was grabbing him for a photo because it is just uncanny. Sometimes I am overwhelmed when I look at him."
