Lily Allen rushed off stage while performing in The Pillowman in London as theatre is evacuated
Lily Allen was rushed off stage during a performance of The Pillowman in London on Wednesday.
According to reports, the singer-turned-actress, 38, was performing at the Duke of York's theatre when a fire alarm went off and security evacuated theatregoers out of the venue.
The alarm reportedly went off halfway during the performance.

According to The Sun, one audience member said: "Lily rushed off stage – everyone thought it was a scary part of the play, but it turns out it was real."
"I just got evacuated out of Pillowman," another reportedly said.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade told the publication they evacuated the theatre for safety reasons after a fire alarm went off.

One theatregoer also shared a video on Twitter of fire crews rushing to the scene in a fire truck. Twitter
"Firefighters responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a theatre on St Martin's Lane in Central London," the spokesperson said in a statement to The Sun.
"The theatre was evacuated as a precaution. A crew attended and following investigation, established there was no fire. The Brigade was called at 3.11pm and the incident was over for firefighters by 3.24pm," they added.
One theatregoer also shared a video on Twitter of fire crews rushing to the scene in a fire truck.

"Lovely time at The Pillowman today (we got evacuated)," they wrote.
They added: "LMAO I'm fine it was a false alarm and we got let back in. Show was very cool go see it!"

Last year, she won best performer at What's on Stage for her role in 2:22 - A Ghost Story.
In The Pillowman, the singer plays Katurian, a writer who is arrested on suspicion of murder.
