'Just down bad': Lady Gaga shuts down pregnancy rumours with a Taylor Swift reference
Lady Gaga has taken to TikTok to shut down pregnancy rumours.
A photo taken of the popstar during her sister's wedding rehearsal dinner sparked the rumours, with fans convinced they saw evidence of a baby bump.
Gaga swiftly responded with the help of an iconic Taylor Swift quote.

"Not pregnant– just down bad crying at the gym," the singer wrote across a TikTok she posted this morning (AEST) referencing a lyric from one of Swift's latest songs Down Bad.
Gaga paired the text response with a video of herself wearing heavily clad eye-liner and sporting bleach blonde hair and eyebrows as she lip-synced to a popular TikTok sound.
While it was a cheeky way for Gaga to shut down the rumour-mill, the Born This Way singer also used the post as an opportunity to encourage US citizens to vote in the upcoming presidential election this November.

Thousands responded to Gaga's TikTok with many impressed at how quick she was to shut down the rumours.
"My mother was QUICK with a response lol," one TikTok user commented.
"You really don't miss anything," another commented.
Others gushed over the Taylor Swift reference.
"The Taylor reference I'm obsessed," one TikTok user commented.
"I love you and the Taylor reference omg please collab," commented another.

The rumours came in the wake of Gaga's attendance at her sister's wedding over the weekend.
The popstar reportedly attended the ceremony as Maid of Honour for her sister Natali Germanotta. She attended the ceremony with her partner Michael Polansky.
Gaga was photographed at the wedding wearing a peach-coloured chiffon bridesmaid gown with a V-neckline and button details. Her blonde hair was pinned up in a simple bun to complement the elegant look and she carried a small bouquet of flowers.
According to The Sun, the family rented out the entire ViewPoint Hotel in Maine, United States.
