Kylie Minogue's famous gold hotpants set for a comeback!
Like a phoenix rising from the flames, nothing can stop the long-awaited return of Kylie Minogue's gold hotpants.
The Aussie singing icon has revealed that her teeny-tiny shiny gold shorts from her 2000 music video for 'Spinning Around' may well cling to her derriere once again.
"I keep saying the hotpants are retired but they just keep coming back!" the 45-year-old singer told Mail Online in a new interview.
Now if you were worried her butt might have changed over 14 years, don't be! It's still as pert as ever, as this video shows:
Kylie announced this week that she'll release her new single 'Into The Blue' on March 16 with her 12th studio album to follow later in the year — her first under Jay Z's record label Roc Nation.
"The sound essentially retains my DNA, and what a Kylie song is, but I think that gives me room to manoeuvre because you have something like 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' to 'Slow' to 'I Believe in You' to 'I Should Be So Lucky' — it's still within the pop/dance arena," Kylie told Mail Online.
"But what it has done has for me most importantly, is injected a freshness and a vitality into doing what is basically what I've always done — I needed to have a fresh approach and Roc Nation has helped me do that."
Kylie posted an Instagram shot from the video shoot on January 6, sporting a gold jacket and a see-through skirt. Cross your fingers there's a pair of gold hotpants to come!
Kylie touched down in Australia a few days ago to start filming The Voice Australia blind auditions, hot on the heels of her recent judging role on The Voice UK.
