Kylie Minogue shut down speculation that she Photoshopped her bum in a photo promoting her new calendar in the best way possible. On October 4, she shared the cover of her 2018 official calendar with her 1.5 million Instagram followers, but the sultry shot instantly stirred debate in the comments section.

In the photo Kylie is seen wearing a gray cropped t-shirt and high-waist briefs, her bum angled outwards as she gives a demure glance to the camera.

Fans pointed out that the wall behind her, closest to her bum, appeared to have an awkward shadow that some chalked up to a failed attempt at Photoshop.

Meanwhile, others came to the 'Love at First Sight' singer's defense, arguing that the apparent shadow was merely an optical illusion caused by the afternoon sun. On October 5, Kylie herself finally weighed in, this time sharing a new photo to clear the whole thing up.

I'll ask the Chateau Marmont to straighten their walls but it's part of the charm!! #wonkywalls However, thanks for being ON IT!" she captioned the photo of herself standing upright, sipping metaphorical tea from a mug. The offending wall behind her appeared to have the same shadow as the original photo.
