Kim Kardashian West isn't content to sit back and let her naughty pregnancy cravings take hold.

The reality TV star, who struggled to lose excess pounds after the birth of baby North, is determined this time around to stay fit throughout the duration of her pregnancy.

To do that, Kim sticks to a detailed workout plan with her personal trainer Harley Pasternak.

"She can basically do all the exercises that you can normally do," Harley told RadarOnline.com. "We just don't lay on your back and we don't do too much abdominal crunching work.

"She likes to walk, walk, walk, walk…She likes to walk while on phone calls - she likes to walk to her sisters in the great community – and she walks with North."

In fact, Kim makes sure to stick to a bizzarely precise walking plan that includes the recommended 10,000 steps a day.

That's on top of working out with her personal trainer "anywhere from once to four times a week" with the help of a Helix Lateral Trainer.

For those of us who aren't gym nuts, Harley explains the device as a "lateral elliptical" that sculpts her butt, her abductors and glutes in a lateral way. Okay then.

Kim, 34, also tries to stay in a "well ventilated room", as well as avoiding sprinting and strenuous boot camp-style workouts.

The star, who is due to give birth this December, is also on a diet that incorporates fibre-rich foods, good fats (no donuts!) and plenty of water.
