Khloé Kardashian takes baby True Thompson back to LA -- on US Father's Day

Khloé Kardashian has returned to LA with her daughter True Thompson and the Kardashian-Jenner clan couldn't be happier.

Mother and daughter returned to a warm reception of balloons, teddy bears and cookies, which 33-year-old Kardashian shared on Instagram Stories.

"I have never seen cuter cookies in all my life. Oh my God, my little baby," she said as she filmed the personalised loot. "Oh, I am just in love… I can't handle it. Welcome home cookies."

She also showcased a balloon bouquet that her sister Kylie Jenner, 20, and her 5-month-old daughter, Stormi, had gifted.

"Oh my goodness. I can't handle it," Kardashian said. "No words, I love you guys."

It's a little suss that the new mum had chosen June 17 to return to LA, which was Father's Day in the US.

Since True's birth in April, Kardashian had been holed up in Cleveland at baby daddy Tristan Thompson's lakeside home. But since news broke two days before True's birth that the NBA star had been cheating on Kardashian, she had been plotting her move back to LA.

"She'll be home soon, so it's really great,” her mum Kris Jenner, 62, updated Us Weekly last month. And when the momager was asked if the move would be for good, she replied, "I think so! Yes!"

Before the duo made the trek back to LA they did spend time with Thompson, 27. Kardashian uploaded an image of True holding her daddy's hand, with the low-key simple caption, "Happy Father's Day" -- a complete contrast to the gushing posts she'd written about him before the cheating scandal broke.

Last month, Jenner also said that she trusted that Kardashian would eventually do the right thing for her and True, aka dump Thompson and move back home.

"I think you just have to be there for your kid and follow their lead," Jenner told E! News last month. "I'm not in that relationship or in that situation, so I really trust Khloé," she's so smart and such a great girl and she'll figure it out."
