'Blindsided' Kevin Costner trying to win Christine Baumgartner back after shock divorce filing
Days after his estranged wife made the shock move to file for divorce, a "blindsided" Kevin Costner is said to be trying to win her back.
"Everyone thought Kevin and his wife were super happy so it's all surprising," a source told Us Weekly.
"He truly loves her and is trying to get her back. He's been blindsided by this."

On May 1, Christine Baumgartner, 49, officially filed for divorce from the Oscar winner, 68, after almost 19 years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences".
An insider later told People at the time that the break up was not the Yellowstone star's idea, and claimed the actor did not want a divorce.
"It was not anything that he wanted or sought, and if he could change the situation, he would," the insider told the publication.
After Baumgartner's filing, reps for Costner shared a statement announcing news of the split.

"It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action," the statement reads.
"We ask that his, Christine's and their children's privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time."
Baumgartner has not issued a statement following the divorce news.
An insider later told Us Weekly that Costner is "deeply saddened" by the split and is "still trying to save his marriage."

"Kevin loves his wife and children so this has been very hard on him," the source said. "He is saying that this is his worst nightmare and he would do anything for his family."
The former couple, who tied the knot in 2004, share three children: Cayden, 15, Hayes, 14, Grace, 12.
Baumgartner reportedly asked for joint custody of the kids in her filing.
The Dances with Wolves actor filed his response one day after Baumgartner's filing, where he also asked for joint custody of his three children.

Costner and Baumgartner dated on and off in the early 2000s, before eventually marrying in September 2004.
Their relationship reportedly nearly came to an end after Baumgartner gave the actor an ultimatum about having children.
"Finally, there came a moment where, maybe this doesn't go forward," Costner told Extra in 2021. "I'm not going to lose her because I'm afraid."
Costner also has four older children from previous relationships – daughters Annie and Lily and sons Joe and Liam.
The actor was previously married to his first wife Cindy Costner from 1978 until 1994.
